Year 6 visit to Clare College, University of Cambridge

June 2023

Year 6 pupils visited Clare College, Cambridge on Thursday 29 June to find out what University is all about.  They were introduced to the college with a talk about how university is different to school, what you can study and other activities you can get involved in.  They learnt about what a Russell Group university is and the collegiate set up of Cambridge University.  We toured parts of the college, including the Great Hall and the library and saw the halls of residence.  We spent lunch in the  gardens and in the afternoon were able to sketch in the sunshine.

 The College made us very welcome for which we thank them very much.
