Gransden Muddy Fun Run26Jan2025

Please join us for this year's Gransden Muddy Fun Run and Mystery Marathon on Sunday 26th January. Star Radio’s Andy Lake will be MC-ing the event and Claire Newbold will be doing a fun warm up before each race. Mystery Marathon This year the mystery marathon will be three out and back loops which start and finish on the playing field and add up to a full marathon. The loops are 11.7 miles, 8.8 miles and 5.7 miles and runners will be given maps to self navigate. Runners can choose to run all three loops and complete the marathon or just one or two loops, or even enter as a team of three and run one loop each in a relay! Anyone who is interested in participating should contact Clare Thurgood (clarethurgood@hotmail.com - 07508299072) by Sunday 19th January so that there is enough time to communicate final details for the day and ensure there are enough maps/resources for all the runners. 3km Muddy Fun Run Tickets are available for the 3km Muddy Fun Run here: https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/event/gransden-muddy-fun-run-2025-sunday-26-january There will be prizes for 1st to 3rd place for boys and girls in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2; muddiest runner and best fancy dress (but only outfits that kids would be happy to get muddy of course!). The class which raises the most sponsorship money will also win a prize - Holly class are the current reigning champions! There will be 2 start times, the first for KS2 (10.30am) and the second for KS1 (11.15am). Please note that if you want to pick one race to run all together as a family, that's fine too - just let us know at registration on the day.
