A message from our Chair of Governors...

On behalf of the Governing Body, a warm welcome to Barnabas Oley Church of England Primary School.  We understand that communication is of vital importance when working together, and we hope this website provides you with useful information and a flavour of the ethos of our school.
 
The Governing Body firmly believes that a good relationship between school and home is the cornerstone of a happy and productive journey through school. We are fortunate to have the co-operation, support and involvement of parents and the community in our daily lives, and hope that that relationship doesn't end at the school gates. Our place within the community is always a priority, and as a Governing Body we strive to ensure that within the school every voice, however small, is heard.
 
With our talented and dedicated school staff, we constantly work hard to ensure that the educational standards, pastoral care and curriculum enhancing opportunities that are offered at Barnabas Oley combine to create a challenging and stimulating environment, in which every child will thrive and become the best that they can be. 

We work closely with our local Church community and in partnership with the Diocese of Ely to embed within our school culture the Christian values that underpin all areas of school life. The Governing Body is committed to upholding these values, and we regularly review the spiritual provision in school.

Barnabas Oley CofE Primary School has much to offer its pupils and the wider community.  We warmly welcome you to our school, and look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you and your child.
