Year 5/6 Visit to Sacrewell Farm

Cedar Class and Silver Birch Class joined forces to visit Sacrewell Farm and had a great time. They wandered around the farming learning about its values and how the animals are reared, looked after and fed and took a tour of the old water mill learning about how it worked and the flour was produced. Then we had some spare time to enjoy wandering around the farm, exploring the lake area, sensory and vegetable garden, throwing pooh sticks over the bridge into the river to see whose stick travelled the quickest and then finished with some time to relax in the play area.
