Special Visitor - Assembly July 2017
Our school was very lucky to be visited by Mr Roy Sloane. He is a Piper with the 1st Battalion, The Black Watch Royal Highland Regiment. He has piped for the Queen Mother and the Queen at Balmoral, Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
He was in the Gulf War piping the Regiment into battle. He learnt to play the Pipes from the age of 8 years old and has been playing them for 30 years.
